To mark the release of ”Independence Day 2: Resurgence”, HAMMER Promotion took charge of planning and executing a special promotional campaign. The mothership from the film was showcased directly in front of the main train station in Berlin. Its dimensions were impressive: 18 meters in wide, nearly 9 meters in height, weighing 20 tons, and covering an area of approximately 150 square meters. Director Roland Emmerich and the two main actors, Liam Hemsworth and Jeff Goldblum, christened the UFO right on time for the official photocall.

Following this, fans, tourists, and passersby had the opportunity to admire the UFO, take photos, and participate in a competition to win fantastic prizes for a month, running parallel to the public viewing of the European Championship.
